A beautiful town, planned in classical style early in the 19^th century, Tullamore is a great center for boating and fishing and enjoying golf and all sorts of country pursuits such as walking, riding, golf.

It is a central midlands town  one of three that will make up what is called the Midlands Gateway.  The project will link Athlone, Mullingar and Tullamore by a triangular network of roads, making it the largest hub for business and enterprise in Ireland, accessible to everywhere.

It is the administrative town of County Offaly and lies along the Dublin-Galway, and the Cavan-Carlow routes.
